Newly diagnosed
The first48 hours.
The most useful thing now is to slow down. Correct information arrives, just not all of it today.
- 01
Breathe.
HSV is very common, manageable, your life continues. The night of diagnosis is not the night to decide the rest of your life.
- 02
Hydrate, eat, sleep.
Your body processes better with rest. Postpone exhaustive searches until tomorrow.
- 03
Find a trusted person.
Not to solve. Just so they know what you're feeling. If there isn't one, write it for yourself.
- 04
Note your real questions for your doctor.
Doubts get clearer once written. You do not have to understand it all today.
